‘Children of Sudan’
In November 2001 Jurriaan van Hall travelled to South-Sudan for Unicef to participate in the ‘Children of Sudan’ project produced by Endemol Nederland. During the previous four months a community center was built in the village of Abeer and Jurriaan was asked to participate in the final activities of the project including the creation of a mural painting on the building together with Sudanese children. On this page inpressions of this ten-day visit and of the gradual growth of the painting are shown.
